The Infinity sear is specifically designed to work in conjunction with the Infinity hammer as a compatible assembly. Therefore, the engagement angle on the hammer is a precise fit with that of the Infinity sear. This provides a superior fit, feel and function that is normally only obtained by several hours of stoning.
The sear is EDM'd from S-7 tool steel with a Rockwell hardness of 54 to 56 adding to the life to the hammer/sear assembly.
